The young historian competition is an annual inter-universities competition that aims to promote African history and inspire patriotism amongst young people in Africa; the programme is meant to revive Nigerian history in the minds of youths and young adults to foster a spirit of nationalism which in action promotes active citizenry.
In a bid to improve the quality of education in rural communities with the idea of supporting quality teachers, The Restored Heart Foundation initiated the TBP to help assist with teachers for secondary schools in rural communities in Nigeria. To close the gap of inadequate teachers in rural communities, the organisation plans to take the responsibility of recruiting teachers for junior and senior secondary schools in Nigeria's underserved communities in partnership with the National Youth Service Corp and some qualified graduates within the host communities.
