International Day of Education 2023
To commemorate the International Day of Education, the team visited Government Day Secondary School, New Bwari. GDSS, has been a beneficiary of the Teacher Bank Project, where we support schools in underserved communities with young and qualified teachers. The International Day of Education project was carried out to help spotlight the school and also get a feel of students’ learning experiences projected to the world.
“International Day of Education is celebrated on January 24th to recognize the importance of education in shaping individuals, communities, and societies. It is a day to celebrate and raise awareness about the role education plays in sustainable development, peace, and prosperity. It is an opportunity for governments, international organizations, and individuals to focus on improving access to quality education for all.”
